An affordable removal service.

We offer two payment options, so you can choose the one that’s most affordable for you.

You can choose to pay a fixed price agreed before your move. Or you can pay an hourly rate for an agreed number of hours. Sometimes house moves hit unexpected delays, such as not receiving your keys on time. If this happens we won’t charge you extra for the added time you need us.

Dismantling and Reassembling.

Are you prepared to spend time and effort figuring out how to dismantle your furniture and reassemble it? Are you confident you can pull it apart and put it back together again without damaging it or hurting yourself? Avoid the risk of injury or the expense of a replacement piece of furniture by letting our experts do the job for you.

Our teams can take apart and rebuild large pieces of furniture from small dining tables to multiple-door wardrobes.

They have the right equipment and the know-how to do a safe job in a short amount of time.

Packing and wrapping.

Man plus XL Van will take care of your belongings as if they were our own.

We have a dedicated team of packers and wrappers who will make sure your fragile possessions are safe from damage, breakages, and spillages. They can wrap and pack the contents of your cabinets and cupboards, precious heirlooms, and expensive electronics.

Our professional packing materials provide the highest standard of protection for your possessions. We can do all your packing and wrapping for you, giving you one less job to worry about, or provide you with an extra pair of hands to do the job yourself.

Piano Moving.

Pianos are big, bulky, and fragile. Our expert piano movers will transport it using specialist equipment. They will dismantle, pad, and wrap your instrument, and fix it to our piano dolly for safe removal.

Storage

Have you hit a delay in your house move and need somewhere to store your belongings? Or do you have something you’re not quite ready to get rid of? Our secure units provide long or short-term storage. The storage site has CCTV and a security team, and the units are clean and insulated.

Clearance

As you prepare for your house move you could find items you no longer want. Man plus XL Van’ clearance service can dispose of them for you. We are insured and have a Waste Carrier’s Licence. This means you can have peace of mind your belongings will be disposed of responsibly.

We only use landfill as a last resort, preferring to find a more environmentally friendly way of disposing of it for you. We will either rehome, donate, reuse, recycle, or sell anything we clear from you. If you have something we can sell, we will buy it from you and deduct the cost from your bill. We work with charities to donate and rehome, use recycling facilities, and advertise items for sale or donation on our Facebook page.

We can take bulky items such as mattresses and sofas, do full house clearance, or clear your loft, garage, or garden.
